Get started with Arango
Understand what Arango offers, pick the product you need, then install it and run your first queries
New to Arango? Start here. This chapter takes you from “what is this?” to a running instance with data in it.
Start with the concepts
If you are not sure yet which product fits your use case, read What is Arango? first. It explains how the products relate to each other and which one to install.
Then install one
Install the data platform, turn documents into a knowledge graph with AutoGraph, and ask questions about them in natural language. Choose between an installation script for local evaluation and a manual install of the full platform. The script takes about 10 minutes, most of it downloading container images.
Run the open-source multi-model database in a Docker container, store your first documents, and query them with AQL. Takes about 2 minutes.
